Rebooting!

Oh Lordy! Despite my best intentions I have not been running for over a month. I graduated in May and managed 3 x 5k runs after that but life has taken some twists and turns and I have let things slide. Any tips on getting back in the saddle- or rather the running shoes?! ‘Just do it’ I hear you say! I think I have to give myself permission to build up my endurance again.

I would go out with the intention of just doing a slow gentle run for around thirty minutes, giving yourself permission to do a bit less if you need to. That will let you see how much fitness you have kept (you won't have lost it all) and then you can decide whether you want to pick up where you left off or do the last couple of weeks of C25K to ease yourself back in. It is really worth doing and you have done it before so you know you can! Just go for it. Very best of luck!
