so I totally know that feeling. Living on the Isle of Wight we have flipping hills everywhere. So to run from home even on a short route. I have a hill that goes down and then up so have to run that twice. A nice long one down to the seafront but then have a choice of a short sharp really hard hill back or a long one that is a nightmare and goes on and on. Wish I lived in a nice flat place but saying that I think hills are good in the long run as the flat route seem then a tad easier. Just bought myself a bike as I am aiming to do cycling/running to shake up the legs a bit
I don’t know who invented hills. Nice to look at I suppose. I can’t work out how my Sports Tracker reckons I have ascended 120m and descended 125m with the same start-finish point. Good luck in Isle of Wight!
Well looking at those peaks and troughs I'd say you're putting your money where your mouth is! My climb also didn't match my descent in my last run, despite it being a straight out and back 🤔 I'm sure Einstein could come up with an explanation 😁
