I'm currently redoing the 10k plan and I am on week 5, today was 5k day. I waited until the rain eased to just a trickle then headed out at about 7.30 this morning. I planned a nice easy and quick run, just around the streets to avoid the mud of my normal country route. It was very humid and after about 2k it started to tip it down again, I was soon hot, soaked and feeling very tired. I completed the 5k but I have say it was horrible, and I felt exhausted when I got home, just one of those runs I have another 8k to fit in before the end of the week, hopefully that will go better.

It was hard wasnt it today? I did 6,4km but was ready to give up at 5km (and 400m). But we did it and I’m sure it’s made us stronger
"Great" to hear that it's not only me. During the last weeks I had some of those bad runs, felt totally exhausted although it was just an easy run ... but better runs will come!
This running lark can be a bit unpredictable, I did a 8k last week that went really well, strange stuff 🤔
Yes, I experience the same ... Some weeks ago funnily the long run was quite well and the following short run was one of the bad ones. One week later the long run was really really tough and then the short run was ok. In the past view weeks the most bad runs were the short runs ... don't know why. However, as not every run is bad, I think your long run this week will be ok!
