Flipbelt recommendation

I know there are often posts about carrying water and water bottles so thought I’d just mention my Flipbelt. I have been very happy with the belt for carrying my phone, keys etc. Today I carried the small Flipbelt water bottle for the first time and found it very comfortable.

Hope this helps anyone thinking about how to carry bits and bobs while running.

Yes I did a post when I discovered these bottles in April. The bottle is just the right size for a mid run sip or to drink at the end of the run before you get back to the car or a cafe. I tried one of the gel bottles first but couldn’t get on with it.

Hey I have just bought and ran with my flipbelt today! It seemed great.... my S9 fits inside and it didn't move or bounce about. What are the water bottles? They sound good, I'll have a look, be nice to have water I don't have to carry with me. X

The water bottles come in two sizes, 175ml and 320ml. They’re slightly curved so fit your body nicely. I carried mine in a slot against my back and didn’t notice it.

Oh fab thank you. Really useful to see a photo and the curve! I think I saw your post but it didn't register as I didn't have the flipbelt then lol! X

Flipbelts were a revelation to me, love mine, so useful and easy!! Haven't needed to get a water bottle as yet but certainly good for phone, keys and sometimes sunglasses!

Thanks for this Wizziewood and Dexy5 , I think I will treat myself to the Flipbelt and water bottle...with the warmer weather coming. I have a Nathan elasticated belt I use. Its very small though... time for an upgrade!👍😊xx

Quick question...do you have to step into it and pull it up to the waist or hips...is it very stretchy...

Flipbelt classic? or the zipper one looks good.

Yes, you step into it. I find wearing it around my waist is most comfortable but you can wear on your hips as well. They come in different sizes so they are adequately stretchy for the relevant size (hope that makes sense!).

Yes, I have the Flipbelt classic.

I sized up, and wear on my hips, it doesn't really move😊

I have the one with the zip pocket. Perfect for keys though you could use the clip thingy and carrying money. I often come home via the shop to pick up milk etc

Yes it's stretchy but you need to buy the right size. I tend to wear mine hip level at almost max stretch and if round my waist it's only minimal stretch. Hope that makes sense x

Oh and recently bought the little bottle which is perfect for the cool down walk home x

How spooky I ordered a flipbelt a couple of hours ago . I just hope the sizing is right . I ordered a large . I'm a size 12 so hoping I have got it correct.

I think I will go with XL then...I'm a 14, and would want to wear it on the hips...or should I go larger!😕

I may wait til yours comes Tinker5393 to get a better idea.😊xx

I’m a 14 and wear a large on my waist, I think an XL would be best for hips x

I use a Bodbud. Similar to flipbelt however... it has a clip to do it up so you avoid having to climb in/out. Means I can make it smaller as my waist circumference decreased.

Works same as you slide your smart phone in etc but you don't need to actually flip it over like a flip belt. Small clip inside to attach keys.

Stays in place with no bouncing.
