Trying out my new Flipbelt...

Happy to have shaved off a few more seconds from my 7k pace this evening whilst trying out my Flipbelt. First impressions are how comfy it is compared to other belts I have. Now I just need to see how comfy it is at the weekend, when I will be carrying fuel and water for my 15k run. Thinking ahead to the Great South Run - I won't need to carry water as there will be plenty on the course but it is great to have at last found a belt (I think) which doesn't shift around as I run and which can also accommodate all I need to take with me on my longer runs. Anyone else a fan? 🙂

I like mine a lot. I also bought the small flipbelt bottle - 150ml - that Hidden suggested (I now take that with added electrolytes). So key and tissues in one slot, phone in another, bottle in another and the last slot? jelly babies of course! Even with all that it stays put. The only niggle I have is that I have washed it a few times and it seems to have lost a bit of structure making it hard to find the openings at times. But overall, it's been a great success and so much more convenient than having my phone in an armstrap thing.

I have a small bottle from another belt which seems to fit - will try it out this weekend. I know Flipbelt do slimline versions specifically for the belt, so we'll see. How are you doing Linda?🙂

A million times better than yesterday! Got pain relief down to a fine art today. I didn't even feel 'grunpy' (grumpy when you can't run) yesterday, whereas today I felt a tiny spark of envy when you mentioned your next 15k. Progress 😂. Thanks for asking 🙂. I believe GSR numbers are already being sent out, so maybe that will arrive soon and spur me on.

So glad you are feeling better!🙂 Not many people envy 15k runs Linda! (only the mad bunch on here😉) - you have done loads of prep for the GSR and now still have well over two weeks to rest up and be fresh for the big day. Take care.x

I love mine. It has my phone, keys, poo bags 💩 (for the dog hopefully) tissues (for my nose hopefully), and sometimes I have used the little clip for my rings if my fingers swell up. I have the teeny bottle but it’s a bit pointless

Good luck with your race 👍😊🏃🏾‍♀️

I have one that I used a lot in the hot weather to hold phone and keys. There is still space for other stuff if required.

I got a bigger one than my measurement would suggest, as the man in up and running recommended wearing over winter gear rather than under, plus I prefer it to sit around my hips, rather than on my waist.

I'm not sure I'll use it now it's cooler, as my running jacket has enough pockets.🤩

..yes, I wear mine on my hips too. Much more comfy.🙂

Yes, love mine, though I don’t always use it - depends what else I’m wearing. I don’t like it over bulkier cold weather running tops or running jacket.

Yes I like mine too, having started with an arm band. The key clip gives peace of mind too. I went for large size in case it was on the tight side. I can never remember where I’ve put everything so I put barcode for parkrun in my capris or shorts pocket .
