Does anyone else suffer from Achilles tendon issues...Ive tried everything from physio, acupuncture, even minor surgery....I love running but suffer with dreadful pain morning, night and during running session. I've spent loads on decent trainers and advice and nothing working...has anyone else experiencing this that's found things that actually work...I've tried weeks of rest and ice but just not getting rid

Achilles tendon issues...need advice..
Achilles tendinopathy does not respond well to rest, it needs to be kept moving.
Have you been doing eccentric heel drops? You should be doing a LOT of them. See this NHS leaflet:
Hi,
I think physio will work for Achilles tendon. My brother had Achilles tendon issue. He tried pain meds, acupuncture and some PT sessions. Though nothing gave him relief.
But he wanted to stop taking painkillers, so he consulted several physios and chiros.
At last, he went to this physiotherapy clinic in Mississauga: physionow.ca/services/physi...
They begin the treatment with some simple range of motion, flexibility exercises. After a few weeks, they started plyometrics and progressive ankle strengthening. In like, three or four months the pain reduced considerably. So, I would say you tried the wrong physio.
Wrong/bad physio for you I mean. Because a physio got good ratings and reviews or your friend suggested him, doesn't mean he'll be good for you. You gotta try a few to find the right one.
