Go Nellie, you can do this. Hardest bit already done because you’ve made the decision to do the run. Have you got a favourite place to go and run, because if you have that’s maybe a good one to do. Im sure you’ll get the run love back. Haapppy running. Keep us posted. 🙂🏃‍♀️👍

Pesky things those mojos when they go hiding. But it’s there and you’ve posted and you are going out tomorrow 👍😀. That will sort it out fingers crossed 🤞. Have a fabulous run tomorrow and hope it’s a flying fabulous one.

I’m sorry but I don’t believe in mojos and gremlins etc. If you want to run, you need discipline and just go out and do it🏃🏾‍♀️

No ifs no buts, just go👍👋

Discipline is the thing, I agree . . . getting your kit on and forcing yourself out the door can be the really hard bit when you are not in the running mood.

Losing weight is difficult. Running is difficult. But you need to pick an event and be determined to settle in for a slow hard crawl.

Last November I decided to do just that. I was turning 45 on May 16th and I was going to lose 2.5 stone and be fitter than ever. I stuck at a healthy diet and I trained hard. I didn’t quite make 2.5 stone, but I lost 2 Stone and 4 lbs. I also got my Parkrun PB time down from 32 mins to 26:30 and I’m aiming for 25 mins. And I’ll also lose the last 3 lbs.

I am now addicted to running. I love it. I don’t find it hard anymore. I did a nice 12 km run at 8am this morning.

You need to aim for something. Say by Christmas you will be where you want to be.

Come on Nellie, you can do this! 👊

Go out just to have fun. Forget time/distance. Run as slow as you like to stay comfortable and see where it takes you. It’s a beautiful day. 🏃‍♀️☀️ ❤️

Good luck! 👍

Of course you can and will get back on track, suggest you just go for a run with no real target in mind. Jog very slowly and look around you, no pressure, then when your enthusiasm is back find a goal you want to reach, be it speed, distance or losing some weight or just working up to running a number of times a week. It’s your race so don’t beat yourself up for perceived failures, just forget them and start to get to your finish line. Good luck
