What a beautiful day for running yesterday was! After a couple of hours decorating in the bathroom, I headed out on my favourite run route, a lot of which is part of old railway line (now a beautiful bridlewayπ). After my recent knees issues, my only plan was to 'enjoy the view' and keep my pace slow. It worked a treat, and I was pleased that any niggles I felt at times were minor. This route has options for many different distances and by about 6k, I knew that all was good to carry on, so in the end my first 10k in a month and all feels good this morning. Fingers crossed, I am back in the game again - my weekend 10k run is always my favourite run of the week - I guess it's all those endorphins?! Happy running today everyone.π
A happy, gentle 10k...(knees seem happier to... - Bridge to 10K

Ooh la la. What a lovely sounding run Sandra. Nice and soft on the knees and things to keep your mind occupied. Another glass of wine deserved. π·
Thanks Dexy - I don't drink much these days... but there is always cake and chocolate!π
