I know that there are the c25k+ podcasts. I also know that there are the written instructions in the pinned post. However, I really would like a voice in my ear telling me what to do and when. Has anybody got recommendations for an app that will take me from 5k to 10k? Week by week? Run by run? (I need that voice that tells me I'm halfway or that I've got 1 min to go!) Is there such a thing? Many thanks!

You could try the Nike Run Club app. I haven’t used it for 5 to 10k but am following a Half Marathon plan. You can set up and plan and then It will give you some instructions. Tells you each K you have run and at half way tells you number of K remaining. It’s not as supportive as C25K.
C25k + Stepping Stones with the lovely Laura Tricky work but very good for building running legs. Follow same format as C25k
Bridge to 10k with Sami Murphy is fab. Voiced over by Sami and hundreds of original tracks It’s a podcast though, it an app. I borrowed an MP3 player for the job Five weeks worth. Three runs a week. On the fifth week you get three separate runs It’s free and there’s a link to the right on the pinned posts
We have our in-house 5-10k programme with Ju Ju. She gives you an update each week and tells you what you’ve got to do Have a look at her clips to get a sense of what it’s like It’s called “10 Is the Magic Number” 💪👍😃
