Let’s go to the running shop I say to my family. It will be fun The looks said it all 😂. Shopping postponed to another day when I can go on my own and spend hours there 😀

Proud owner of 4 in use pairs. There’s the pair I ran the 2017 Great South Run in, no longer fit to run in, but on a pedestal and deployed for occasional gym use. There’s the pair, same brand, model and version as the pedestal pair, different colour way, not much running life left, my go-to gym or walking about in runners shoes. There’s the pair I used last year, recovering from injury, same make and model but different version, about 60% used, not as well loved, now deployed mostly when I think I will get muddy feet. There’s my newest, same brand, different model, current go-to running shoes, they will get me through this season’s events. Another matching pair, same brand, model, version, but different colour way, will be needed before they get to the 60% use point.

And don’t get me started on tops, leggings, shorts, sports bras, socks, jackets, merino wool layers etc etc

Eek... I did the same. Breaking in some new Hoka at the moment and excitedly awaiting the Altras I ordered at the same time! Eek.
