Altitude training?

Well, ok, just been skiing for a week. Fantastic snow and weather for end of season in Tignes. Spent the week between 2,000 and 3,000m. Didn't raise the heart rate into the cardio zone much so was a bit concerned my running fitness would have gone off a bit. Went out to do 5k this morning with no intent of anything other than a steady run. Felt good and took 1min 20s off my PB!

The leg and core work out must have helped!

Wow, maybe we should all incorporate skiing as suitable cross training. Well done, that’s amazing!
