Hi Jonno I have just returned from Catalkoy near Kyrenia ( Girne) in TRNC, I graduated there Friday 10th 2019. I was going out at 5 am to beat the heat! Our place is near the school at Catalkoy, there’s a long slow hill to get up to return to our villa. I’m a silver runner very slow, the old men out walking in the village high fived me last week!

Back out there in June, it will be the early start again for me.

I live in Ilgaz and run on the Lapta Walkway, also of an age at 55. There is a run down south on 21st of June. Am thinking of entering the 5k as it will be warm in Nicosia then. Fancy it?

Ha travelling home that day! I run around Catalkoy village early, I’m 66 and I’m going to have a go at Park run in the near future. I’m doing the consolidation runs not quite at 5 k yet. Hope that run is not too late in the day, it will be warm that’s for sure.

I’m on the Welsh west coast, first day out yesterday after coming home, much cooler here! I run early here as well, could not cope doing it late on. Never thought I’d be enjoying it!
