I'm a reasonably regular jogger of about 5 to 7k 2 to 3 times a week for the last 2 years although only been managing once a week over the winter. About 6 weeks ago I notched it up to twice a week. 3 weeks ago I went out twice when my knee felt stiff but not painful. Since the 2nd run my knee has got sore and swells up if I stand up too long or walk too far, although there wasn't a particular moment when I was aware that I'd injured it. I've been icing it regularly and trying to rest it when I can but it's not getting any better. Not sure what I've done.
Anyone had anything similar?
