NRC - operator error

Does anyone know how I’m supposed to use the NRC ap when it has me do a 4 x 400 speed run?

I expected the voice to tell me to pause at the end of each 400 mtrs etc - it just treated it as any other run , told me when i’d Done 1km and again when I’d done 2 km ..... not very helpful?

This is a common problem with the NRC app. You expect it to have some level of automation but unfortunately it doesn't. So here is what you need to do

- start the run then at the end of the 400m pause the exercise.

- the display will then change to a timer, walk or slow jog or rest for your 'rest period'

- at the end of the rest period press the little timer symbol and it will change the display back to distance.

- at the top left of the screen it will show a counter of the number of intervals you are doing and your current interval number.

I carry my phone in my hand when I am doing intervals, can't cope with it on my arm.

Hope this helps.

It certainly does help - many thanks for explaining it so well!

I guess all the fiddling about will take my mind off the pain, next time I have to do intervals!

Cheers 👍
