For the shorter runs should we be aiming to go faster or just taking it easy?

I’d love to do it as part of a group but haven’t seen any news of it starting again soon so I’m just heading out solo for now.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering too... think I need the group mentality so for now doing CP2 plan:-)

I’m doing the plan solo... I use the short run for either a steady jog to stretch my legs, or a speed/intervals run. It depends on how I feel. Sometimes I don’t have time in the week for 3 runs and so I’ve skipped it a couple of times, but this week I felt I needed a shorter run to keep ticking over but also give me a bit of a break, if that makes sense? I’m sure others with more experience can give you a better idea!

I’d wondered the same thing. Doing it solo at the moment but would be pleased to be part of a group too.

I’m on wk 3. Done the 7k run wk3, still to do 3 & 5k runs.

Well done. 7k does sound like a long way for only 3 weeks in but I’m trusting the plan!

Yes I was a bit taken aback. I’ve done 5k this morning but I’m definitely slow. But I’m thinking it’s all personal and relative to starting point etc. If I end up being able to cover 10k at a jiggling jog, I’ll be happy.
