Hi! Beginning to panic.. signed up for a 10k at the beginning of June.. but due to work, weather and illness haven’t run for over 2 weeks .. and then it was only 5k 😬😬... is it do able to get up to the 10k distance between now and then?! Very much a fair weather plodder.. not concerned about speed.. just need to get some distance under my running 🏃🏻♀️ belt! Any advice welcome 😊😊

This will be the one you signed up to 7 months ago will it?
2 months is plenty of time to get up to 10K. I would look up a 10K training plan, there are zillions on the web. Adjust the plan to suit your race date. Start using the plan!
Don't be a fair weather runner - it might be raining on race day!

If it were me, I would just think well I can walk 10km so if I have too, I"ll walk 10km although saying that I can now run 5km so I would adapt that to think well I can run 5km and then walk run the rest. I"m sure that you can get there though. There is that JuJu's plan that gets you to 10km. You'll do it

Don't panic, you have time. Build up slowly and add 1K to each weekly long run. I'm a firm believer that if you reach 7/8K before the race then you'll be able to run the 10K on the day because the atmosphere and adrenaline will keep you going.
But you need to get out regardless of the weather because you don't know what the weather conditions will be like on race day and you need to get used to all sorts. Anyway, it's fun, just think of the hot shower/bath afterwards 😊

Don't panic! What dexy said, look up JuJu's magic 10 plan, plenty of time, and with a bit of luck the weather will improve!??! I don't like running in the rain much, but it's not so bad as long as it's not really cold at the same time. Go on, you can do it, and we'll all be checking on you now!👀
