Who would of thought it...

So... in September 2018 I was out cycling with a friend and they said they were looking at doing a duathlon, I had no idea what that was but I thought I’d give it ago - turns out it involved running 2.5k twice with cycling inbetween. The first thing I had to do is buy some running shoes!

I followed the C25K to get myself going and managed to drag myself through the duathlon in October, since then I’ve managed to complete several Park runs including Johannesburg 😊

Yesterday I thought I’d give a 10k a bash, lo and behold I made it although my knees were a little sore last because of jumping from 6-10k too quickly - lesson learnt 😣

So last night high after the run I entered a half marathon in September- how hard can it be right?! 🏃‍♂️ 🏅

If I can do it anyone can!

wow! firstly well done on the duathlon - who knew it would inspire you to run!

Huge congrats on the 1st 10k - its a great achievement.

🤣 i can't believe you have entered a half marathon on the back of it but equally its fantastic - so good luck with the training - keep us posted
