Hello everyone, I will be taking part in Brighton 10 k too next month. I really want to do half marathon this year. There is one near me in may, around 2 months away. I can run 12 km easily right now. I haven't tried going further than this. Could some one guide me how I can make sure that I am ready for half marathon in next 2 months?
Also there is 3 days run in may which will collectively be equivalent to marathon or one can take part in individual runs which are 10, 10 miles and 10k. Will this be easier to take up?
Thanks everyone!

Thanks Mary, very helpful. Plan makes me feel I can do half marathon in 2 months.
Last weekend I went for 13 miles walk just to cover the route and see how I am gonna do it. It was alright but I realised my shoes are not for long runs.
I found 12k to 16.1k (10 miles) was a jump. I had to adjust my pace to do it. I’d suggest increasing slightly every week/2weeks. Most HM plans are only up to 10miles. Good luck!
Thanks for reply. Yes everywhere online it's suggested if you can do 10, you can do 13. Hope it's true. I will try to do 14k in my next run and see how it goes.
