Pleased to be making progress with right leg grumblings that has prevented me trotting for 6 weeks and prevented me taking any part in Abi’s winter speed challenge.Looking forward to the next one.

Will repeat C25k starting 13/03/19 with the newly formed Green Gym sub group called the Penrhos Streakers, so named by the ladies.Must say if I had chosen that name , might have been arrested.🤔😂

Written a number of small papers based on all the advice on here to get people started and onto HealthUnlocked.

Loads of jobs/replacements/repairs on the domestic front, do not know how I managed to go to work back then.

Going to Fort William end of this week to my cousins wife’s funeral, 62.

Heart broken for the immediate family and it has been such a shock for them.

We have got to count our blessings and enjoy our opportunities.

Be selfish and look after our health and our amazing bodies so we can give back.

Go HealthUnlocked Admins keep leading the charge and providing this gift .

We are all responsible for ourselves but it helps having the support on hear.

A funeral can make us take stock and remind us of our own mortality so you're right Tbae, we should count our blessings and not take anything for granted.

Glad to hear your Green Gym is going well! Good luck with it all 🍀

62 is too young, I feel for the family. A sad reminder of how precious and short our lives are. I’m happy everytime I lace up my running shoes and head out the door that a) I can actually run and (b I can come on this forum afterwards and tell everyone all about it! and get so much support and encouragement. Penrhos looks a beautiful place to exercise Tbae and good luck with your C25k restart. 👍🤓

She sounded a very lovely lady and how very sad Tbae. As for me, all is well, haven’t spent much time on the forum or running as sis in law from Sydney is staying with us for two weeks.

Glad the grumblings are making some progress. Hopefully repeating C25k with the green gym guys will help you carefully return to trotting again. ❤️

Sorry you’re heading up north for a funeral. They do make us all take stock. My parents had pretty good innings, so there funerals were sad but not as devastating as those held for younger people. I sadly went to the funeral of my cousin’s 21 year old son a few weeks ago. Such a devastating loss for my cousin and Aunt and Uncle. ❤️

Gosh MD how devastating. An experience unfortunately shared by my cousin and his wife, 16 years ago.
