I had promised / threatened a pre work outdoor run today. Been on the treadmill since October and on Week 5 of Ju Ju's plan meant I had to add an extra 20 minutes on to one of my running routes. So there I was at 4.30am on Google maps looking at possible routes 🙄
I trotted off with an idea of a route, knew it was going to be harder than the treadmill but I had my 🐷 headedness at hand and I did it! I'm working on duration not distance and wasn't too displeased to see I ran just over 7km in 50mins, so not the 8k as per plan but I never achieved 5k in 30 mins either!
Was wondering if I had lost my outdoors confidence but I think it's back on track! ♥️😋 Possibly entering the Fradley 10k on 10th March had something to do with it 😜

Well done! You get up early 😲 I still couldn’t do 5k in 30 minutes even if I was being chased by a bear 🐻 not that we actually have wild bears here in England 🤣🤣🤣
Well done. It was so much better outside than on the treadmill today gingernutter. I did a lot of c25k on the treadmill because of bad weather last year but once I got outside I’ve been reluctant to get back to the gym.
Don’t worry about pace while doing those longer runs , keep some snails with you and you will get there .
