To be fair it wasn't too bad, certainly not the conditions many of you will have had. Looks like we may have missed the worst week if the winter 🤞
Parts were muddy, parts slushy and one km was spent almost waddling sideways up a still icy incline but I'm glad to have got February off to a decent start.
Hopefully we will have better conditions now and maybe that's the worst of the winter over?, we can but hope.
Hats off to everyone who got out this weekend and hopefully you had good and safe runs.
Run happy, run safe.

Glad you enjoyed your holidays in Lanzarote Chris, yes you missed the worst of the snow in your area when there were blizzards in North East England on Thursday and the temperature early on Friday was -11C, the weather forecast for the coming week is much milder weather.
Chris who knows what other weather lies in store... Remember last year we had the beast from the East at the end of Feb / beginning of March. You may think you’ve escaped it, but ...😉
Glad you had a good holiday, did you get to run while you were there?
Your run yesterday sounded entertaining... all that mud... Hope your shoes don’t need to much cleaning.
Yes i think tbe "beast from the east" was late February?, I had 4 lovely runs in Lanzarote, nothing to long but nice to run in the T Shirt and shorts. The trainers did need a good clean!!
Nice run Chris and welcome home. I quite fancy winter sun, but really wouldn’t like coming back into the cold - bit too much of a shock to the system. On the other hand, it must have been lovely to run in Lanzarote.
