Always take your rest day Paul. You’re new to this game so you have to look after yourself It takes 18 - 24 months to build a pair of running legs. Slow runs and rest days build legs 👍😃🏃♂️

Post run I finish quite a-ways from home so I can stretch out on my walk back. Epsom salts in a hot bath (2 cups) chucked under the running tap is a good post run soother I buy it in big bags or tubs from the pet shop - they sell it with the equine stuff Or unbleached stuff from the allotment shop if you have one near you 👍. It’s magnesium sulphate crystals
