thanks everyone for your kind comments.2 days rest. back abit sore and my legs iknow what you mean now about rest days from now on ill do it by the book thanks not got my badge yet

Always take your rest day Paul. You’re new to this game so you have to look after yourself It takes 18 - 24 months to build a pair of running legs. Slow runs and rest days build legs 👍😃🏃‍♂️

You’ll be back out there before you know it

Post run I finish quite a-ways from home so I can stretch out on my walk back. Epsom salts in a hot bath (2 cups) chucked under the running tap is a good post run soother I buy it in big bags or tubs from the pet shop - they sell it with the equine stuff Or unbleached stuff from the allotment shop if you have one near you 👍. It’s magnesium sulphate crystals
