I've decided that this week is the week I begin Ju-Ju's 10k plan, which should get me most of the way to 10k before my race on Feb 17th - or all of the way if i miss the repeat weeks.
With my asthma I really, really struggle running in cold weather (and I hate running in the dark after work), so I'll go outside when I can - definitely when the runs go upward of 7k! - , and complete at the gym when I can. I've hit 7k before but struggle to get past that distance, so I think I need to rebuild slowly from scratch.
So, with that, I'm going to finish my coffee and head to the gym for a 5.5k run, I'll report back later!

Yay, I saw that you did the 5.5....huge well done. As a fellow asthma sufferer I’m so with you. I really found it hard going on my run today. I find if I breathe through my buff for a bit it makes a difference as the warm air gets to the lungs, and always take your inhaler if you can.
