A bit late to wish you all Happy Christmas so I'll just say that I'm hoping you are all having a wonderful festive season.
Well done everyone who managed a run yesterday, unfortunately I went down with a horrible cold on Christmas Eve so didn't achieve my planned Parkrun ... and we had such a busy Christmas day that I even missed out on reading your posts. I have only just sat down for a quiet half hour to catch up with the forum chat.
So I will finish by saying thank you everyone for continuing to keep me motivated and inspired and I will be relying on you to keep me running throughout 2019.
Happy festive running!

A belated happy Christmas to you too, Wizzie. Sorry to hear you have a cold; I do hope you feel better soon. I got out as planned and ran a speedy 3k on Xmas morning, only to be struck down with a horrible cold by the evening! Feeling cooped up and sorry for myself today.
I never complain about the cold/rain of winter running, but one thing gets me down, and that is the seemingly endless rounds of cold viruses at this time of year. Pfffft!
Hope the new year brings better health and some lovely runs for both of us! Stay cosy and warm.
Any other time I wouldn't give in so easily but what with Christmas commitments and then we're off to France with friends for the New Year celebrations I decided I really must get well asap.
Already planning to do ju-ju's magic 10 again, hopefully starting end of next week.
As you say, let's look forward to our New Year runs.
