I always try to vary my runs on the treadmill or else I get very bored! I alternate speed and elevation. I figure that any running is running, even at my my snail like pace! There’s a really good app - Nike Running Club that has some interval training and treadmill guided runs if you are interested in having someone telling you what to do! It’s probably pretty similar to what you are doing yourself. Well done for adding a bit of variety!
thank you like you said i get very bored on tredmill i have not run outside yet EVERYONE ON HERE keeps telling me to go outside i think i am abit scared of outside i dont know why
I do know what you mean! I spent my first 6 months in the gym and it took a while before I was comfortable outside. It’s like anything though and you just have to take the plunge and do it! There is a lot more to think about outside and it is a different experience, but now I love it! We don’t have changing seasons here and I do miss that about the UK, so I’m looking forward to running in the cold instead of the humidity. There is no right or wrong way as kind as you enjoy it! Happy running
