Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% - anyone tried them?

This shoe seems to be the latest thing for those with very deep pockets - has anyone tried them? Prices are absolutely crazy, and apparently they only last 200km.

I guess this is the difference between normal shoes for us mortals and elite runners. Quite incredible really.

Blimey, what do they do, go out and run for you? 😂, and I thought my asics were at the high end! Can’t give you any review, but they look more ‘fashion’ than proper run shoe to me, especially if they only last 200km........what’s the point in that....🤷‍♀️......unless you’re just standing still.....posing....😂.....ha ha ha!

Of course if they are given to you, I,e the ‘elites’ - who get through loads of pairs.......as an advertising ploy, you’re not bothered about cost or how long they might last..... 😉

It’s the shoe that nearly broke 2 hours for the marathon and then broke the world record officially in Berlin in September. £1 per kilometre is nuts though! Nike sold them as a Nike+ exclusive a couple of months ago, you had to complete a running challenge in NRC to unlock the right to buy them 😂
