Bad attack of runningitis πŸ™ƒπŸ˜³

Really bad attack of this runningitis virus! Finished 2nd week of half marathon training yesterday, then lay awake reading Runners World and subsequently planning where and how I would run my next week, even trying to run the various runs in my mind. What's the matter with me? Had to have a nap this afternoon to recover πŸ˜‚.

Anyone else caught this virus, how do you manage it?!!

Happy days πŸŽ‰πŸ™‚πŸŒ»

Yes! I don't sleep after a longer run. On my 10km day (B210K) I wanted to go out in the evening but expected to be too tired. I went out full of energy and stayed out til 01:30! I also get excited about all the different things to try!

That was some run...out till 01.30, but these things have to be done! πŸŽ‰. Is it the endorphins that possibly keep us awake? Could be, even though my runs are mostly morning ones. Happy days!

Oh yes! Very contagious too! I spend waaaay too much time on here reading everyone's journeys, then planning my next week's running plans, reasearching what cross training I should do online, then on Pinterest reading anything and everything running related. As the runs get longer, it seems my time online gets longer too, reading about running. Then when I get really inspired i start to reasearch future trail races to eventually join.......it never ends. Sorry no solution! Just enjoy it πŸ˜„

Haven't checked out Pinterest, actually not sure how! But I do love to read about running, or thinking about it and making plans...got to start the nutrition thing now, maybe, possibly, sometime, in due course πŸ˜‚. Trail races sound a little too tough for me, and I'm not too sure about racing in general, but who knows? never thought I would take up running in my retirement. Have a good running week πŸ™‚πŸŒ»
