I really feel I am jinxed with park run in general and Whitley Bay in particular, in last 3 weeks I have had to pull out with a dodgy stomach, being calledinto work and this morning woke with sore throat, blocked nose etc.

However I feel a bit better now so it might just be one if those things that fades away as the day goes on.

Really need to get out for a long run tomorrow as I have the Northumberland 10 miler in 3 weeks and haven't gone longer than 10k since the GNR.

Well done to everyone who did park run this morning or is planning on getting out over the weekend.

Run happy, run safe.

I suspect there’s something in the air I was kept awake by coughing last night. Not coughed at all during the day but my throat felt very yucky 🤨 if it amounts to anything I will go mad 😡

Everyone at work is coughing away constantly so it's no surprise!!!

Yeah that could be it. My old man works at various hospitals and brings all sorts home, none of which affect him in the slightest 😷🤧🤮. He seems immune from everything 🤷‍♀️

Haha, my wife works at the children's intensive care unit at the local hospital, brings home all the kids germs and passes them on to me 😂😂😂

What a shame Chris, I hope that it all goes to plan next time. I guess that runs along the coastline too? Hope you are feeling better soon
