Fabulous Runsome! 👏👏👏👏 I’m not surprised you’re proud. 😀😀 It must have been beautiful too!

Isn’t it a lovely day? I’ve just done 6.5k. My ‘long’ slow run of the week. Aren’t we lucky with our new found running ability? 😀

Thanks CC. yes it’s a great day to be alive, seems you’ve had a good one this morning too. why didn’t we do this years ago? 😀

Well done! Sounds like a great run 😁

Are you back for parkrun on Saturday? If you are I should be marshaling at the end of the pier at the beginning (sending everyone right hopefully 😂) and then barcode scanning x

Hi PT Thanks👍 I won’t be back for saturdays Hastings parkrun but I’m going to be a tourist and do the Llanerchaeron one here in wales🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Hope your injury is getting better and good luck with the marshalling on Saturday your braver than me doing that scanning. I guess you managed to get you post notifications working ok, all the best RS😀👍

Injury is doing OK thanks - hoping to do a slow pacing stint at parkrun on the 27th to ease back into it. Injuries are good for clicking up volunteering credits 😂

Was supposed to barcode scan last week but ended up as funnel manager 😮 Hastings AC were out in force so I got to see some very fast runners come over the line. A young lad of about 17 was first finisher in 15:31!!

Enjoy your parkrun tourism x

It’s lovely to do some running tourism and getting a parkrun in is an extra bonus. So I hope you have a great time in Wales and this lovely weather continues.

How brilliant to get a PB there too. Well done runsome

Thanks Dexy5 it will probably be raining but I’m looking forward to the parkrun. I know it seems pathetic but the only reservation is it will be on a trail and I don’t want to mess up my beautiful running shoes , they’ve taken me further than I ever imagined I could go. I think when they’re worn out I will put them away somewhere as a momento of when I went a little bit mad in my mid fifty’s and started a thing called c25k 😀

What a brilliant idea Runsome. I was thinking I need to clean off the blood drip from my shoes but maybe I should leave it as a reminder of my journey (and the need to look where I’m going)

Yep they are a living history of your journey blood n all😀
