I did my first park run today after graduating in August and found it more.like a cross country course as we ran a lot on grassed bumpy areas. I normally run on roads and pavements so found this mornings run quite difficult. I did it but not a fabulous time but I did finish and there's always room.for improvement- onwards and upwards as they say my time was 40mins.
I did meet a fellow member from.another club I belong to this morning - he is blind and has hearing difficulties and he runs with a guide -he's a total inspiration if I ever needed one- pics attached
I will continue with bridge to 10k and have my 7k run to do this week ππββοΈ
You lovely lot on here always keep me going!!! Thanks for the great posts and positivity πxx

Well done on your first Parkrun - and yes, if you have never run off-road, it is quite different but is great for building up the muscles and improving balance and your core. Nothing wrong with that time either - you should be feeling pretty good about yourself, I reckon!πNice pic, too - and yes, a very inspiring man by the sound of it.π
