Finished up my course of physio treatment and signed off with a gold star yesterday. As far as my hysio superstar concerned I'm not only now fixed but probably in better shape than I was even before the "niggle nightmare" started. So that's good.
I'm still putting in three sessions a week, haven't quite nailed Stepping Stone yet (way back from where I was a month ago), but I will. Ready to start to push my "long run" up beyond the 5K mark now. Stepping Stone will keep my happy for the other two sessions. I still hate Podrunner, but nothing's perfect....
Gently does it.

Brilliant to get the thumbs up from someone who really understands bodies and running.Your patience paid off.The physio I see walks on water as far as I'm concerned! Happy running.
He's been great. He did say that the number of people to get the end end of a course of treatment properly is pretty small. Most of them don't do the work in-between times he reckons. I was reasonably disciplined, tho not a zealot. But it's paid off and I know what to do to keep the legs working properly now
I got three of their tracks crop up in succession today, which has never happened before! Lovely though and I had a blast, you know to clean out the old cylinders as it were. I always envisage Robert Plant at the mike when I hear this stuff. Ah happy days. Sigh
Took Black Sabbath and the Who out with me too. Go me!
I hope you're feeling strong and ready to get back into it. Carefully though o'course
First time I did in (I think) June it seemed pretty easy. In the interim with not so much running it feels a bit harder. (The Human Pretzel Walking thing at the beginning is still dumb tho.) I'm getting through it, but a couple of walk breaks. So "nailing" that one for one of my short runs is a fixture for the next couple of weeks.
Brilliant news, Stephen! ππββοΈβ€οΈ We obviously all need an βAndrew the Physioβ to improve us! π
Great that you can get back to building your distance up again now. Iβm going through βPodrunner endurance trainingβ at the moment to see how long I can keep listening to it! π³ Keep trying to do 5ks with gradually increasing bpm steprates... (Reaching insanity before the optimum 180 steps per minute is currently looking fairly likely! πππ)
Hey there Stephen! You still about? Missing your posts - how are you? Thinking of you on my repair days and every time I see jelly babies in the supermarket π
