15 weeks ago i started C25k.....

In 3 weeks i am running my first half marathon 😲😲

Sister of my wife has had to pull out of the run having already paid for her place so has asked if i would like to step in.

Gonna be tough but am looking forward to completing it.

What distance are you up to? You might want to look at the Jeff Galloway run-walk-run stuff if you’re still some distance away. Anything is possible with the right strategy 😀

Am on week 4 of B210k app and overun yesterday managing 15k in an hour 30, this included 1 minute walk intervals between each 18 mins so have got to find another 6k in order to complete ☺☺

Wow - I speeded up my 10k plan to 6 weeks, because I wanted to do my 1st 10k Fun Run on Sept 16th (after hopefully a few practise ones!) You’ve really upped the stakes, Issue5 - wishing you all the best of luck! 🍀🍀🍀😊❤️

Wow good luck!! I graduated C25K on 15th July and ran my first 10k race last Sunday (condensed B210K plan lol!). My first half marathon is ‘booked’ for March so I have plenty of time to increase distance. I am sure you will be fine though if you run-walk-run the distance. Look forward to hearing how you get on 👍

Wow that is some progression .... I think the suggestion of run/walk is a good idea ... you dont necessarily need to bde able to run 13 miles in training .. if you got to 10 miles in training on the day adrenalin and the atmosphere would get you through the rest..

Just take it steady.. don't over push yourself at the risk of Injury..

Other than that good luck have a great day 😀

Awesome progress! Good luck. Don't let injury get the better of you though, listen closely to your body :)

Hello linda9389

Have to listen to my body all the time as i am an insulin dependant diabetic. I run with a co runner/rider and wear a hydration pack containing a carbohydrate solution, gonna be a challenge ☺☺
