Advice on shoes .. again

I’m thinking about buying some Brooks Ghost 10 which are being sold off at a good price. I’m going for half a size bigger than my Sauconys (both big toes now poking out!!). Can anyone tell me what they’re like width wise? I’ve got quite wide feet. Thanks 😊

Good morning Sarah.My Ghost 11's are my first quality shoes and are great.I have wide feet and I was fortunately advised to wear a generous size 8 which initially felt huge but once I was running makes perfect sense.Light and comfy.

Hi Sarah, I cannot advise about the ghost but for info my adrenaline gts 18 come in a wide size as well as standard. I take 5.5 - 6 in normal shoes and 6.5 in my running shoes.

My toes poke out from most of my shoes. it's because our toes turn up (dorsiflexion apparently) as we get older and stiffer-toed, and I think lighter weight shoe uppers to get the shoe as light as poss. My husband just got some £50 Ghosts as he needed some wider toe box shoes cos of his bunion

I love my Saucony Kinvara 5 but the newer models are getting narrower for some reason I like Brooks but they are a bit heavier. Go and try some on! Thinking Glycerine Nike Vomero is a bit wider in the forefoot than the Pegasus Happy shopping!

Yes I think you’re right, I need to try them on before buying. Last time I bought the first pair I tried, although they’ve been great, I feel I know a bit more now about what I’m looking for. 😊

I have ghost 10 I got back in April I paid £120

I love them I wear a half size bigger I have wide feet too but I love them. My first real running shoes ever I got after gait analysis.
