It's taken 24 hours to sink in but I ran my first 10k yesterday, definitely not going to break any speed records (my sister has nicknamed me Slow Farah) but I'm very proud of my progress since starting c25k in march.
For this run I planned out a new route using mapometer ( mapometer.com// ) and ran across the fields past some cows to a village I haven't run to before and had a nice scenic loop home through more countryside and up the big hill (well big by Norfolk standards!)
I know I definitely qualify as a lurker but I'm so grateful to the admins & regular posters here who give invaluable time and knowledge to the community and have given me so much motivation to carry on with this running malarkey ππ

Thank you π I'm surprised none of the lovely snails on here had come up with slow farah before & the fab response here might just persuade me to do a bit more posting in the future ππ
Congratulations you did it! I do love a 'scenic loop'.I like using Mapometer too for plotting distances band daydreaming about running 10k.Hoping to follow in your slow mo footsteps!
