Just looked at your other post. Looks like the Markeaton Parkrun and Derby fun run must have been going on right near each other! How man runners? And what time of day?

Funrun started at 11.00, didn’t seem many running but this is the first organised run I have done so not sure what’s the normal attendance

Parkrun started at 9am. Lovely to have the park so well used.

The park run was on right before we set off today. Some Derby runners usually do it, but switched to the fun run to be with the gang this morning! 🏃‍♀️

Hi Crib! I wondered if the man just in front of me wearing the baseball cap was you! That hill was a toughie the second time round. Still, that’s Derby in the bag. Well done. But the warm up wore me out today! 🥇

I think the warm up Zumba wasn’t really for me as I am still just a brisk walk for 5 minutes guy. Still it gave my family loads of laughs at my public dad dancing 🤣

Just decided to look at a Parkrun at Long Eaton in September, better start some routes with hills next week.

At the end of it all I loved running a 5K with my daughter ❤️
