I’m doing a Big Funrun 5K tomorrow which starts at 11.00, I always run first thing in the morning just having half a banana before I start normally. What’s the best breakfast to set me up for the run 🤔

My choice would be small bowl porridge and half banana, at least hour and half before you run. Maybe I would take a few raisins as a mid day snack in case lunch is delayed. Hydrate well today. Enjoy 😎
I agree with Millsie-J but if you've not eaten porridge before a run before then maybe tomorrow isn't the best time to start! You could go with toast and a banana which would be fine for a 5K.

Porridge 💪 Good whole oats, not that Instant stuff that looks like dust 😁. Although in an emergency is better than cornflakes

I don't like running on food really, I like to have a flat white on the way to the start line. Out the door, into coffee shop, run race. Happy Squeak 😊
