The ones that feel most comfortable on your feet regardless of brand. Anything anyone says here(except me of course ๐) is valueless. Get down to a nice big running shop and try some on and get some advice there. Mayhap get your gait analysed while your there.
Make and money make no difference to your shoes. What counts is whether they fit your feet perfectly or they donโt. Why are you asking now after all this time?
Definitely need them to look good with the bumblebee shorts!
Gait analysis, advice from a dedicated running shop NOT somewhere like Sports Direct. Up &Running were brilliant when I bought my first running shoes. Read reviews on Yell or similar when choosing somewhere local to you.
Be aware that Sweatshop is now owned by SD, so unless you know what you want, Iโd give em a miss. I say that from experience Nothing wrong with SD but I donโt have confidence in their staff training ๐คจ.
I went to a specialist store in Manchester, had gait analysis, got offered 4 pairs to try. 2 Brooks, 2 others. Loved both the Brooks. Preferred one over the other but didnโt know prices. The one I liked was the dearer pair but discounted as new model about to launch, so ended up cheaper. Iโve now bought a second pair same in different colour in a further sale.
If you ask locally or look on google for running shops in your area The shop website or Facebook Page is usually a good indicator Customer feedback and interaction with the owners is a good sign I have several not too local stores that are well respected within the running fraternity with whom I trust my feet. If I know what I want I will shop online, or wait for an event where thereโll be bargains. Got two pairs that way ๐
