Start of second consolidation week with added hurdle (literally!)

Up in Crieff this week and as the locals will tell you it’s hilly! I don’t like hills!! Anyway I’m pointed in the direction of a beautiful bike path which is flat and - joy of joys - it’s cooler. 16 degrees. Wonderful views of the town and only one hurdle (see photo) a very large hose about to be hooked up to a massive sprinkler. Apparently it draws water all the way up from the river. Thought I’d get a better distance today (flat and cool!) but apparently I’m consistant if not fast. My 30 minutes come in around 4.3k but heh, I was enjoying the views. Just a shame I’m not here for my next run. Need to find a helpful local there too! Happy days.

It’s bliss!! Missing 30 at home. Usually complain about the Scottish weather!

lovely place to run Sybilw, however, that hose could be dangerous for a runner who is short-sighted, otherwise a great place to run, I am in Scotland as well, we are a bit lucky to avoid the heat that the south of England has, but in June we did have a record-breaking temperature of 91f on the 28th.

Believe me you’d not miss that hose. It was absolutely massive! They were watering a potato crop when we walked past later.
