Thank you so much for your lovely kind messages of support to my earlier message about my dodgy legs. There are too many to reply to individually, but I want you all to know I've read each one, taken note, and you all make me feel really supported. Thank you!
I'm feeling much happier now, and also a little better. I tried a 20 second (literally!) test run earlier, and it felt pretty good, but I think I'll just give it a day or two longer, and maybe try again when I'm off on Friday morning. I certainly won't be going for 9k that's for sure, but I might try a nice slow 5. 5k is a nice distance.
I'll see you all soon, thank you again, you are all AWESOME!
I haven't read this post you're talking about, but will, but anyway, you are welcome and you are awesome sawesome, haha 🤣 seriously, you always try and always achieve. Keep up the good work and hope you are better soon xx
Thank you my dear! Just my legs misbehaving, although with the boiling hot weather I'm actually rather glad of the rest! How are you getting on anyway?
Good lad to sensibly ease back in. Soon you will be outstripping us all x

I love that you call me a lad lol I’m feeling much better today, but I’m not even going to attempt a run until Friday morning when I’m off work. The sensible approach is, well, sensible, but rather frustrating, particularly after the pure elation of running 8k

Well, if it's any consolation, I woke up early, thought i might do a 10k plus run, but I'm too darned tired to go out at all
Thank you! I’m trying to be good, really I am, but this came rather out of the blue. I’ll try a gentle one on Friday and see how I get on, if, and only if I feel up to it!
saw your other post and worried - and then saw this one! hurrah to feeling happier and better. Looking forward to seeing you post about your next triumphant run
Awww thanks icklegui the fact that someone would actually think to worry about me is much appreciated. I’m hoping I will be ok to run on Friday (early!) but I’ll be careful and stop if it hurts.
Hi Hidden ...that’s better...you sound much more positive...nice & steady Neil, no need to tell you, you’re a proper runner who knows the proper way 😉...looking forward to hearing how you’re doing x
Well, I'm trying to be Mummycav ! I'm desperate to get back to running, even after a week, I miss it, and I've been so proud of my progress recently, I never thought I could do anything like this. I just need to get over this annoying blip! I feel considerably better now, so I'm going to try a run tomorrow, but I shall probably keep it short, and stop if I feel any sort of pain. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it!
