Summer running 🌻

No time for any thing this evening between a late finish at work and ferrying around daughter 2, but Laura, Speed and a residential road route.

But what a wonderful route it was - not marked by distances given by the Strava lady or one lamp post to the next but the lovely scents of honeysuckle, Philadelphus, elderflower, roses and lavender.

It certainly meant that every gasp for breath was fragrant 😂🌹🌼🍃

In the winter I ran past someone's Daphne in full bloom. By the following week it was over. Sometimes residential smells are actually better than the countryside (anaerobically digested waste being spread is an occasional whiff round here...)
