Out for a quick 3km ended up doing my first 10km๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜

After suffering quite badly with my TBI fatigue since Saturday I decided to go out tonight and just see what I could do. Even 3km would have been ok given my fatigue so off I went.

Such a beautiful evening, such beautiful countryside and it seemed to be going ok. A really short 200 metres walk at 3km and I was fine to carry on. By the time I got to 4.5km I started to take twists and turns to extend my run .

Before I know it Iโ€™m at 7.5km ( my previous furthest distance ) and even though Iโ€™m a little slower than I can go Iโ€™m still feeling ok so I take another turn and before I know it Iโ€™m at 9km , Iโ€™ve been running for over an hour and life is good.

Not gonna lie that last kilometre was hard, not gonna lie I wish Iโ€™d done in in less than 1hr 20. Not gonna lie I wish my split pace was more even BUT not gonna lie it felt awesome. And I feel like Paula bloody Ratcliffe tonight . Hahah . Hope I can walk tomorrow but Iโ€™m gonna sleep well with a big smile on my face ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Yes . I read your post. Laughed about the sisterly advice , I get that a lot but glad it was the decider that spurred you on to your 10k. The best thing about running is it takes you wherever you want to go for as long as you want to go. Awesome x
