After suffering quite badly with my TBI fatigue since Saturday I decided to go out tonight and just see what I could do. Even 3km would have been ok given my fatigue so off I went.
Such a beautiful evening, such beautiful countryside and it seemed to be going ok. A really short 200 metres walk at 3km and I was fine to carry on. By the time I got to 4.5km I started to take twists and turns to extend my run .
Before I know it Iโm at 7.5km ( my previous furthest distance ) and even though Iโm a little slower than I can go Iโm still feeling ok so I take another turn and before I know it Iโm at 9km , Iโve been running for over an hour and life is good.
Not gonna lie that last kilometre was hard, not gonna lie I wish Iโd done in in less than 1hr 20. Not gonna lie I wish my split pace was more even BUT not gonna lie it felt awesome. And I feel like Paula bloody Ratcliffe tonight . Hahah . Hope I can walk tomorrow but Iโm gonna sleep well with a big smile on my face ๐๐๐

Yay! That is so great. I'm sitting here tired after a busy day at work trying to convince myself to get changed and go out for a run and you just convinced me! Thanks Nwrkpak ๐
Yes . I read your post. Laughed about the sisterly advice , I get that a lot but glad it was the decider that spurred you on to your 10k. The best thing about running is it takes you wherever you want to go for as long as you want to go. Awesome x
