I’m upset - I have lost a sock.

Somewhere between my HM in May and now I have lost a white sock with a blue stripe. I have torn the house apart and I can’t find it. I suspect it didn’t come home from my HM.

You might ask why am I upset about this sock, but it was my £14.00 special blister preventing socks, one is useless and to replace will cost another £14.00. So yes losing a sock can upset me.

Who would of thought losing a sock would get to me. 😂😂😂😂

What would you hate to lose in your running kit?

I will keep my eye out 😉 for me, it’s my running knickers, I would be lost without them and they were really expensive, and also a bit old lady-esque ( shhh don’t tell anyone)

Hehe. I Understand, I wouldn’t normally been seen dead In My running pants 😀. I’ve looked at the proper ones but shied away at the cost when my plain old cotton ones do the job.

in reply toju-ju-

mine are old ladyesque too, it's the nature of the garment!

Oh bad luck Rfc! It may find it’s own way home with luck 😉

In the past week I have lost an earring which is from a pair I had for a big birthday, and a white gold bangle.

Mr M is not impressed, I am very sad😞

Oh no. I hope they turn up, sounds like you have a jewellery gremlin in your house that hides things. Xxx

Google! I've run without every bit of running kit and it has been at least OK and often quite refereshing eg running in Keen sandals and cut off denims, but running without Google was miserable.

Actual 'things': sports bra (M&S have a particularly good design going just now, dropped the price and brought in a very snazzy metallic pink (yes, that's GM praising pink!), hair clips (I really don't much like the feeling of running without my hair twisted up and clipped, and in colder weather... buff of course!

Just bought some British Boxer knickers on special offer which I am keen to try out running.

Oh I am sure Google would be miserable too if you went out running on your own. I was looking at the sports section in M&S at the weekend they seem to have a really good range, might take my birthday money in later in the year. 😀.

I'm not surprised you are bereft - £14 socks and meant for long runs. Bum!

I lost my patience with my cheap karrimor armband for my phone and keys last week and threw it in a bin mid run....i now regret it 😭

Presumably you jettisoned it without the phone and keys???

Oh no, I gave up on arm bands long ago I spent to whole time hoisting them up. I went to a neoprene bag that just sits around my waist and now moved onto a very lightweight running backpack. I realise I need freedom.

Had thought about backpack but wasn’t sure how comfortable they were

I use this one. I got it for my HM for the fluid but now I just use it for running without the bladder pack. I like the sense of freedom it gives rather than having something around my waist. It has great little pockets too.

I gave my new running undies their first outing yesterday. I was very excited. My family are now convinced I have finally lost the plot 😂

I bet it will reappear.... If you are like me, AFTER you have bought another pair. 😀

You know I am sure you are right, things never turn up when you look for them 😀.

I haven't seen it, honest!! Personally I'd be lost without the Shockabsorber but I can't imagine a scenario where that would go missing outside the house.

Hehe that made me laugh. It would be a strange one to lose outdoors wouldn’t it. 😀.

I have lost my dignity on several occasions :)

I bet you haven’t 😀. Hehe losing your dignity is me half way through a run deciding to do a little dance because I like the tune then realising I’m out in public 😂😂😂😂😂.

I lost my front door key once - that was tragic😩. I’d taken the spare one with me out for a run and had new running capris on with a slightly different pocket. Took my phone out at one point to take a picture and must have accidentally lifted the key out of my pocket too.

Very luckily for me the OH was working from home that day (rare) otherwise I would have been waiting for a few hours till the kids got home from school.

He laughed a lot at me about the key and my tomato face!

I’d be annoyed if I didn’t have any lip balm to put on before a run, or matching socks (my kids steal my socks but don’t care if they match) drives me crackers!😬😂

Hehe you know I have never worn odd socks, just can’t bring myself to do it, it is even worse now that running socks have L and R on them. Glad you weren’t locked out too long.

in reply toEmmaRunning

That stealing socks and then mixing them up thing is SOOOOOO aggravating!!

I’m so glad it’s not just me Hidden Realfoodieclub - drives me crackers! Haha they’re so young and irresponsible they just don’t care. Clearly with age comes taxes and matching socks. 😩🧦🧦
