Well it’s my first ever race on Sunday and my first time running in a crowd. I’m doing the Manchester 10k and I’ve been struck down with a sore throat and feel like I’ve been hit with a bus. I’ve not run since last weds and I’m so sad that I might not be better by weekend. I’m planning on doing it no matter what. Even if I have to walk it! Been advised to take the these performance enhancers so fingers crossed they work 🤞

Try echinacea too. Good luck for the race. You sound determined, and Sunday is a way off still xx

Hopefully the adrenaline of the race will help you through any lingering symptoms. Fingers crossed you feel better soon 🙂
