Just finished Week 3 today with an 8k run instead of 7. I was out with a friend and we were having fun and weren't ready to stop yet! Feeling better about these longer runs now .Thank you!
Completed Week 8! (I started halfway through the previous session). Ran the 10k really slowly, but just happy to get it done. Thank you so much for this! Your mum's place looks really lovely.
I've been struck down with a horrible summer cold. Think I'm over the worst now but has meant no running this week. Hoping to go out tomorrow and see how far I get!
Completed week 4 this morning with a 5k (did the longer run on Thursday). Went out with wife this morning, but she set the rules that I had to take it slower, no headphones and had to talk 😱 must admit found it strange without music. Any way I survived and now on to week 5. Ju-ju will give u a wave when I’m passing by on the way to St Ives 🤣.
Well done you..... I did the run today from Hayle along the Cornish coastpath nearly to Polzeath. It was just stunning...... I hope you have a good time. I’ll be running on the beach early tomorrow...
Hello, just arrived from C25 after April graduation. Was going to aim for a 5km race in 8 weeks, but think I should challenge myself further and try for 10k i stead, so started Week 1 today
Just starting Week 4 Ju, done the 5k, may squeeze the 4k in tomorrow, then want to do my 8k along the Thames Path at Kingston, near Hampton Court and Bushey Park... there its written down so I will do it.😉xx
Did my first 8k this morning. Yessss! so, so happy to be finally part of this plan. Just a couple of short recovery runs between me and completion of week 4 now
Running on a treadmill is pretty boring, but it's WAY better than not running at all
Just wanted to say thanks so much for this plan! I’ve been following it for the last few weeks and ran 10k yesterday morning! It felt amazing! A year after graduating and a week before my wedding! Looking forward to some long honeymoon runs! thanks again ju-ju xx
Hope Ju. I’m on a slow down unfortunately. I did a good 5k on Saturday and was due to do 8k on Monday but have been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. I’ve decided to give it another couple of days and then try again. Frustrating as I was going pretty smoothly till now.
Hi I was using a different programme and last week did 7k but really hurt my knees. Gone out tonight and done the 4k on your programme for this week. It was great to be out and knee no worse but very slow (35 mins) so, silly question maybe, but is your plan all about completing the distances whatever the time you run? Thanks
Absolutely, there is absolutely no time pressure its about the distances. However we had someone a while back who wanted to focus on running for longer periods of time so used that as a focus instead of the distance ( if that makes sense?)
Thanks very much. Sadly been to physio this morning and go fluid on knee. So plenty of ice and a series of exercises to complete before back to running. hoping just couple of weeks as really got the bug since doing couch25k at start of year. I will be back and following your programme now.
Hi Ju Ju. Can you add me to the list, please? I was doing your previous plan earlier in the year and had got up to 9k in March, but since then I'e been struggling since with a flare-up of the dreaded ulcerative colitis again (I won't go into details but sadly the symptoms are not conducive to running !). But I'm feeling loads better again now and back on it again. Have done 5k and 6k this week - and aiming to do 8k at the weekend. (Repeat mantra: never give up, never give in ...) Thank you!
Managed an 8k last week thanks to the plan! It's all going well so far. Need to improve my time but focusing on finishing at the moment. I'm off to Cornwall next week will be running my 9k round Padstow!
Since completing C25k, 9 weeks ago I have clocked 140 kms and have moved from 15kms per week to now 20 kms / week every alternate week by introducing a 10K run using Laura’s stamina podcast. Will complete 2nd 10K Sunday.👍
Should I jump in or just review for your next intake.
It would give me the option of your programmes varied distances, together with Laura’s 5k+ podcasts.
You are very welcome to jump in, alternatively if you want to join from the start, the next one is the 15th of June if you would like me to put your name down?
