Cliff top run in sunshine!

Really enjoying this lovely weather for running! Back in the winter I tried to imagine what it would be like when I was all wrapped up!!!

Ventured out this morning after I made sure my teen son had left for school! I hadn’t really decided how far I’d go today, thought I’d play it by ear!

I wore a vest top for the first time and new Capri leggings,sunglasses and visor!! In disguise!!! I still always feel self conscious before I step out the door but feel completely different on way home!! (I know no one bats an eyelid!!!)

Anyway as usual the day I least feel like I’m on top form I actually have a better run! Just minor faffing with earphones!! Stopped to take a few pics here and there! It was beautiful! Little pink wild flowers had replaced the daffodils since I last ran this way. I’m so lucky to have such lovely places to run on my doorstep! Avoided checking my distance for ages and when it said 10.2 K I decided to carry on a little further so actually did 12k which is furthest yet! I’ll give myself a good few days to recover now!! 😀☀️🏃‍♀️

I have serious envy because you run in such a beautiful place. And 12k, wow!

I wonder if all runners feel self conscious when they set out and confident on the way home. I know I do xx

Ah but I’m envious of your lovely colourful leggings! You run in a beautiful place too! Although I’m not envious of the hills!!

This run I did has a few steps and what I call hills but you’d probably laugh at them!! 😂

Ha! You know where to find the colourful leggings! Go on, you would look fab.

As for the hills, I wouldnt want to give the impression Im running up Mount Everest. pinkaardvark just ran a beast of a hill from all accounts!

I googled and found leggings with owls!!!! Don’t know why I’m surprised! Anyway I just treated myself to new prescription varifocal sunglasses 😎 so I can’t really keep spending can I?? 😂

I know! It’s beautiful! We’ve only been here a couple of years. (In N.Ireland before that!) 😀
