Intervals

Second attempt at intervals. Still not keen but an improvement on the first attempt.

Tried twenty minutes alternating for 30 seconds at a time between very gentle pace and a faster pace.

Worked okay but went off too fast again I think and ended up walking for some of the recovery sections. All good experience.

At least I can enjoy my planned longer run at the weekend 😀

They sure are. Hoping they’ll be good for me so I’m going to keep having a go every now and again.

I tried 500m at a slightly faster pace than my normal, and 500m normal pace last night. Was meant to repeat 3 times but after first 500m I just went back to normal pace. Didn’t enjoy it. Think I’ll have to just do normal pace for now but I feel so slow at 7m/km 😞

Hard aren’t they. Thinking I probably need to join a running club and have some one teach me how / make me do them. I’m planning a long run tomorrow which I hope will be much more enjoyable.
