Another 10k under the belt in slow and steady style!

After a month of very few runs due to work and other stuff getting in the way, I’m back on track for my first 10k race in early May. Had a considerable amount of faffage at the start of the run with Spotify and then car keys rattling so two short stops and a 1 minute walk after a short steep uphill section. Once I’d got past that I started to get into my stride and although I was tired and glad to see the car at the end, I did make it - 10.3km in 1hr 13mins.

Plenty of room for improvement - I’m aiming for 1hr 10 or better in May!

Happy Spring running!

That’s a really good time! Forget 1hr10. You’ll be at an hour before you know it! Well done.
