Hi there and welcome to the new quest for April. As we see the days getting longer and the air start to get warmer I canβt think of a better time to set some new goals. So have a think about what you want to achieve this month, write it down here and go nail it π₯
What the Quest is:-
The Quest takes one month . You can join any time, within those weeks.
The main aim of the Quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period.
I ask that you will be a Graduate to join the Quest. The main reason I ask this, is that while you are doing the programme, your plan is very structured, so I wouldn't want the Quest to interfere with that.
Most popular goals are:-
To run three times a week
To slowly increase distance
To train for a specific race
To add In Stretch and Strength exercises
As you can see they are personal to yourself and it's totally your own choice.
Every week I will pin a new post, where all the members of the Quest can talk about how things are going.
So if you wanted to join all you have to do is put;
I would like to join the Quest, or count me in, and then I would like to. ..............
Your name will then be added to the top post and every week your name will be in the Quest until the end.
At the end of the Quest, there will be a certificate that you can download to keep.
Happy Panthering

Will my bod look like one of the runners in your pic if I achieve my quest? π€£π€£. Iβd like it to be exactly like the one in the pink vest and shorts please!!
Please may I join your April Quest, I want to complete your 10 is the Magic number plan again, ready for a Virtual 10k on 4th May. I am starting at week 2 and have done my 5k and 3k runs...the 6k is planned for next week.
The program is on my fridge and those two runs are β so ITS ON!π
Hi ju-ju - I'd like to join the quest and will be working on moving to running on alternate days (as opposed to 3x weekly which due to work sometimes slips down to twice) and slowly increasing the distance I can cover (6k has been my limit so far) - though think if I imagine I'm trying to escape the people in this picture this will be entirely possible π
After a few weeks off I want to join to get back to running three times a week even if they are short and sweet... I will get back to this even if it kills me x
I think it's time for me to start your 10k plan again. It's 4Β°C and tipping it down with rain out there...but there's no time like the present, so off I go. βΊβ
I want to build on my March quest which was a run or walk every day. That one went well so for April I will run every other day, and walk on all non run days. I shall stick to my minimum of 2.5k daily but will expect to average more than that over the month.
It is part of my plan of continued rehabilitation from the IC, building those knees!
Oooooh... I wanna be in but I don't really know which goals to choose...
Dare I say "cycle ride"? The access onto the White Peak Loop has finally been sorted.
13k run (which will be my longest to date)
And I really do want to get a grip and lose a couple of kilos as I have crept over that BMI line... and since I suspect the line itself is a little overgenerous to me anyway...
Under all that I'd like to keep up with what I did last month: the daily dog walk/run, 10 squats and food diary... and get another 5k along the Derwent on my virtual swim.
Juju, I would like to join the Quest. I will commence stretching exercises given to me by a physical therapist and will do them every other day. I injured my knee some time ago and will try getting back to running as I was before winter.
Please may I join? I will try to increase my distance from 10k to 15k by the end of the month. On an enforced break this week due to bursitis but hopefully will still have time!
I'm getting back on my feet, it's a bit up and down, but I've done a few runs and not keeled over, so I guess I'm doing ok!
I'll be running in Spain next week, then it's back to hilly France, where I shall probably begin with some walks, but hopefully I'll get a few runs in before the end of the quest.
I just need to get back to running 3 times a week. Lurgies, the weather, new pup, and poorly pup have left me just not wanting to make the time to run.
I would like to join please. My quest is to get better at full body exercise not just running. So I have downloaded the "Seven" app mentioned in women's running this month. I am going to try and do a 7 min workout every day. I missed 1 April but have done 2, 3 and 4 so far
I graduated from C25K today. My plan for the rest of April is to consolidate, with 30 minute runs, 3x per week for the rest of the month, trying out some C25K+ podcasts to mix things up a bit.
April 30th I'll start your 10 is the magic number, already printed and on the fridge with the plan ending on a 10k race day!
Please count me in, I run for 30 mins x3 weekly but have not yet achieved 5k without walking some of it. So my quest is to increase the distance/ time I can run nonstop for the magical
Please can I join? I have a target of running 25 miles in April to kick me into running more regularly. Currently up to 10 miles since April 1st? Thank you Ju-Ju
