Remember Remember to run in November Quest week 4. Feel free to join πŸ•ΊπŸ½πŸŽƒπŸ’₯

Welcome to the final week of the new quest. So as we move to the colder end of the year with darker days and beautiful autumnal colours let's embrace the opportunities it brings and set some new goals for the month.

What the quest is:-

The quest takes one month . You can join any time within those weeks.

The main aim of the quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period.

I ask that you will be a graduate to join the quest. The main reason I ask this is that while you are doing the program your plan is very structured so I wouldn't want the quest to interfere with that.

Most popular goals are:-

To run three times a week

To slowly increase distance

To train for a specific race

To add In Stretch and strength exercises

As you can see they are personal to yourself and it's totally your own choice.

Every week I will pin a new post where all the members of the quest can talk about how things are going.

So if you wanted to join all you have to do is put:

I would like to join the quest, or count me in and then I would like to. ..............

Your name will then be added to the top post and every week your name will be in the quest until the end.

At the end there will be a certified cate you can download to keep.

Yikes, where did that time go...

Not a lot happening. I'm still waiting to receive my Poppy Run medal so I've not doubled my achievement there yet.

Did a couple of actual online yoga classes this week, hooray.

So, just a few days to get one more swim in to complete the 2k and a couple more classes. Do-able.

Hmmm, haven't been for a run since my last run of the 10k plan last Sunday. Wanted to do a 4k midweek but my stomach has been a bit upset all week.

Feeling a bit stiff and gardening didn't help with that😐.. so a bit out of sorts at the moment. I know I will run when I'm ready...xx

I've struggled a bit since reaching the 10k milestone last week. Had the black dog nipping at my heels all week. I forced myself to do a speed interval workout on the treadmill on Monday. I didn't realize my hubby had adjusted the belt on it and it was slipping more than usual. I should've stopped and had him adjust it but with my current state of mind, I worried if I stopped, I wouldn't restart so stubborn me plugged through. I've had a tight right hamstring since but forced myself out for a 5k yesterday and will hopefully try another 10k tomorrow (or at least another run).

Did another 10k this morning. I'm beginning to believe I can do it now. Maybe just a few more and I'll be completely convinced. ☺

I didn’t run last week because of this wretched cold but I did fulfil the non-running part of my Quest goal which was to work out my next HM plan... which starts on 2nd December πŸ˜³πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ₯‡πŸ° Oops, how did the cake get in there.
